Contributions are not tax deductible for federal or state income tax purposes. Mississippi law requires the campaign to use its best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Under Mississippi law, individual and political committee contributions are limited to $2,500 per election cycle. Corporate, incorporated company, and incorporated association contributions are limited to $1,000 per calendar year. Political party contributions are not accepted and are prohibited by Mississippi law in judicial races.
