Contributions are not tax deductible for federal or state income tax purposes. Mississippi law requires the campaign to use its best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Under Mississippi law, contributions are limited to $2,500 per person or political action committee per election. Corporate contributions are not permitted in judicial elections.
